What it takes to onboard Omnidocs Create

With Omnidocs Create, we aim for ease of onboarding and approachability. The prerequisites for onboarding are minimal, and mostly boil down to having an IT administrator on your side, but might change with your specific case. Requirements for solution administration depend on the scope of your solution.

Prerequisites for onboarding

  • Most of our solution is built around Microsoft Office/365, so we expect that your organization uses Windows and 365. However, other document solutions might be supported - reach out to talk specifics.
  • Login to Create is exclusively done via SSO, so an administrator on your side will need to complete the consent flow. Follow our guide to enabling SSO to Omnidocs Create via Microsoft Entra ID, and then add custom claims as needed. Other SSO providers can be accommodated - reach out to us to find a solution.
  • Our consultants are here to adapt your existing documents into templates that can support Omnidocs Create flows. We'll need a contact person or people that are familiar with your business logic and document flows, so they can accurately adapt the documents to your needs, and advise you on the best solution for you.
  • To start Create from your Microsoft Office/365 apps, you'll need to have 365 administrators ready to deploy our add-in for 365 and Outlook.

Prerequisites for certain features

  • If you want integrations to systems that you're using, you'll need to be able to provide some information, usually limited to API secrets needed to communicate with the platform.

Prerequisites for maintenance and updates

  • Our consultants are always available if you need to make updates or changes to your documents. If you want to manage documents yourselves, there will be a need for an administrator that's comfortable with Microsoft Office/365, or more technical, depending on your needs.
    • You'll also receive any necessary training, depending on how much you want to be able to manage your solution yourselves.
