How to use captures

A guide to using captures in Create.

📘

The "Can capture answer" setting in the Recipe editor defines whether the value of a form field can be captured. If the setting is disabled, the users cannot capture the value of that field.

Using captures

Created captures can be used to prefill forms. Here, you'll be able to read about how to create a capture, record values to it, apply them to a form, and edit the values.

Create a capture

  1. Navigate to your organization in Omnidocs Create.
  2. Select Captures in the top bar.

Edit captured values

If you change the value of the form to a value that's not captured, select Reapply to apply the value that was saved in the capture again, or Save to capture the new value. If no action is taken, the new value will be used for this form, and the old value will remain captured.
